Privacy Policy
ComposeCraft (“the Extension”) is a Chrome browser extension that helps you load or paste HTML email source and insert or copy that content into an email compose window. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Extension handles and how.
1. Summary
ComposeCraft does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share personal data. All processing happens locally in your browser on your device.
2. Information the Extension handles
When you use ComposeCraft, you may provide:
- The contents of an HTML file you choose, or
- HTML text you paste into the Extension popup
That content is used only to (a) copy it to your system clipboard when you click “Copy to Clipboard,” or (b) insert it into the compose editor of the tab you are viewing when you click “Insert into Compose.”
The Extension does not upload this content to any server, cloud service, or third party. It is not stored after you close the popup, except whatever remains in your clipboard or in the email draft you chose to edit.
3. Data we do not collect
ComposeCraft does not collect:
- Names, email addresses, or account credentials
- Browsing history or analytics
- Location, device identifiers, or advertising identifiers
- Payment information
The Extension does not use remote code, tracking pixels, or analytics SDKs.
4. Permissions
ComposeCraft requests the following Chrome permissions, used only for the features described:
- activeTab — access the current tab when you click Insert
- scripting — insert HTML into the compose editor on that tab
- clipboardWrite — copy HTML to the clipboard for pasting into desktop mail apps
- Host access to Outlook on the web and Gmail — support direct insert on those sites
5. Children
The Extension is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Changes
If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above will be revised. Continued use of the Extension after changes means you accept the updated policy.
7. Contact
